You have a variety of ways to setup Kubernetes clusters on AWS. The easiest way will be EKS, which is integrated with Rancher. You get more control over cluster setup with tools like RKE, Kops, or one of many other Kubernetes installers. Rancher can manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS regardless of how they are setup.
The easiest way to set up a Kubernetes cluster on Google Cloud is GKE, the most mature cloud Kubernetes service. GKE is integrated with Rancher. You can, of course, setup your own custom clusters using RKE or other Kubernetes installers. Rancher can manage Kubernetes clusters on Google Cloud regardless of how they are setup.

You can also use Pivotal Container Service (PKS), which is VMware’s official Kubernetes distribution, but it does require a separate purchase from VMware. Rancher can manage Kubernetes clusters on VMware cluster regardless of how they are setup.
