Speaking Session: Lessons Learnt from Running Containers at Scale

Abstract: IAG has been running containers at scale for the last 3 years. Starting out with 6 containers in 2015, they are now running a few thousand containers in production at any given time, across multiple sites. This session will cover how IAG has managed to wrangle these workloads with Rancher. IAG has created a self-service model for our development teams allowing them to consume k8s at scale, while enforcing defacto standards for Adherence to service definition standards, fault tolerance monitoring of services, log aggregation, education, CI/CD integration, container vulnerability scanning.
